The storage bin tends to fail either with the clasp, which can be popped out and changed with a Brabantia bin clasp (ebay!) or - as in my case - the pin that is part of the lid itself snapped off. If this happens the only official repair is a complete new storage bin which will cost well over £100 these days. I don't know if different years have a different design so please check first but I imagine they're all much the same. I printed at 0.2mm, 100% infill. Rotate it 90 degrees so it prints on it's side (pin parallel to the build plate) with supports. I did it this way so that when it's closed the spring force isn't pulling against the layers. Use two M2.3 x 8mm self tapping screws to secure the new pin to the inside of the bin lid, making sure to line it up exactly so the new pin is where the old pin was. Depending on where your pin snapped you may have to file the leftovers down a bit before fitting this. Unfortunately, you can only buy the whole control knob, which is not cheap, so he asked me for a 3d print. First we tried an exact copy, but that didn't work very well, because it has very thin walls, so we decided to strengthen the walls, and add them in all four edges. This means that it doesn't fit perfectly into the seat, you must enlarge the original whole slightly, but it's hidden by this bezel anyway. The mounts of these particular LEDbars were a bit tight, there's not much clearance between the \"hinge\" and the bolt hole that comes against this printed mount. That's something to keep an eye on if you use the same LEDbars as I do, the bolts have to be just the correct length. Looking at my design, I am sure they wouldn't throw a cocktail party in Arese to celebrate it, but hey, it works...:) --- I needed a simple mount for my cheap chinese LEDbar to mount it on the wife's Alfa Romeo 159 to improve visibility in the dark winter months. This will attach to the scudetto, the front grill of a 159 or a Brera, and it can be removed without leaving a mark on the grill, which is a nice bonus. I am still printing the other one for the other side. I think you could use this as an attachment surface for a larger LEDbar as well, but it should work at least with the small one I have, which is very light. If you use it to mount a bigger one, you might want to have more surface layers or higher infill, perhaps even consider PETG instead of PLA. These just snap into place in the 42mm hole in the wheel. I made them flat so they could have something glued to them. The recessed ones can be highlight painted. I printed these in ABS, on a Flash Forge Creator Pro with a glass bed. I set the print up for 2 shells (in addition to the perimeter) and 25% infill. As you can conclude after a heavy rain the passenger floor was a lake. This design prevents the water from going in there.It's not perfect but it does the job.I also placed some glue at the joins to secure just to be sure.
