The Tesla logo is 1\/4\" thick and has 1\/2\" space between the logo and the hitch cover. The nut will need to be tightened until it pushes the pins that hold the magnet on the cover to the side. It can be tightened until the handle does not move. Alternatively, epoxy can be applied.
