About this part
If you have ever tried to turn on your cars A/C or heater and heard a clicking noise, more often then not it means one of your actuators have failed. Usually one or more of the gears in the actuator fail and instead of moving to open and close blend doors, the actuator motor spins without registering a position change from the arm decoder located within the unit.
This is the center gear used inside an A/C door blend actuator in 05-10 Ford Mustangs. Drop in replacement gear saves you the money in having to order a whole new actuator. The plan is to model all the gears within the actuator so hopefully someone can repair any broken part within the gear train.
