3D-printed boot loom seals for the 1972-1996 Audi 80, made to order as an affordable alternative to a discontinued or expensive original part.
About this part
Having recently repairs the looms in my Audi 80 cabrio boot, and with the new loom being larger diameter and the old rubber seals being very perished, I decided to design something that would fill the majority of the gap.
This seal has a reasonably tight fit in all four holes, and allows for a 12mm diameter cable to run through.
The design also allows for retrofitting to existing cables. I intend to use a mastic to bond them in place, and fill the remaining gaps, but they serve a purpose and tidy the area up.
This thing was made with Tinkercad.
