Brightness Control Knob – 1989 Toyota Camry
3D-printed replacement brightness control knob made for the 1989 Toyota Camry: a simple way to replace a cracked, lost or hard-to-find original part.
About this part
This is to replace the instrument panel brightness control knob in a 1989 Toyota Camry. It can be found on the left of where the steering wheel attaches to the rest of the car. I only took into consideration the shape of the peg it had to fit onto and did not try to make this an accurate replica of the original vehicle knob. I used Tinkercad since I no longer have access to CATIA after graduating. The part is simple, consisting of just a cylinder and a square hole, so advanced CAD capabilities were not required.
