About this part
2015-2017 Ford F150s and Excursions with cooled seats have an issue where the thermoelectric cooler overheats because it just circulates hot air in the back of the seat. This adapter replaces the fan shroud and allows you to use a flexible duct to bring in cool air from outside the seat back.
