About this part

This was specifically designed for my 1999 SL-Class r129. I have been told this same design applies to w124, and w140 models which have the Sacco accent cladding, but I am unable to confirm. (Please let me know if you can confirm this!)

This design is for the sliding clips that are found on the top portion of the trim, NOT the bottom portion, You can find the bottom portion clips for sale on amazon and ebay.

My design is superior to the OEM Mercedes Benz design, it is simpler, stronger, and easy to print in multiple materials.

Material used was Hatchbox PLA and has been tested for 3+ months in exterior Texas weather (27C-44C), and speed tested up to 233KMH without failure or loss to structural integrity.

For maximum strength, print at 15% infill, Grid Pattern, Monotonic Lines, and in vertical orientation. Anything above 15% infill will result in degraded performance. (yes this has been tested!).
