The plastic side panels have a wedge type clip where a plastic wedge on the side panel slots into a metal clip in the seat.  It looks like the seat side clip tends to rip the wedge off when you pull them out (see picture in gallery).  This print file is designed to slide right over the remaining stub (after you trim it clean) and all you need to do is drill through the holes and thread in a couple of screws to hold it.
