About this part
My Toyota has a Petrol/gas Cap tether, to prevent the Cap being dropped or forgotten - sadly, my piece of crap Honda CRV doesn't - one of 100 or so DUMB things designed into the 2000 model.
Anyway, it pissed me off once too often, so here is the result, it should fit on most cars.
I used a 300X3x.51.25mm wiretie (from ALDI) to hold it in place, with the end Clip off an identical wiretie to hold the rotating part in place. The fixed part was just Supaglued to the old Petrol Cap, as drilling into the Cap's ratchet mechanism probably isn't a great idea.
