This annoyance got me to get the ProClip mount that doesn’t rely on double stick tape. Not thrilled with positioning it provided because I liked the display location of my previous design. So I created this Garmin Ball Device Holder that locks into the tapered middle of the ProClip mount. It requires no screws and sets the GPS to the left and nearer the dash then possible with a faceplate  mounted ball. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSimple design that doesn’t require supports if you make sure the back side sits flush on bed surface. I print in PETG with .32mm layers out of a .5mm nozzle about as fast as my printer can go.
