From a 2004 Ford Expedition the Hood Lift Support was too week to hold the hood open. So I put this device on top of this and it holds. Possibly fits a lot of other cars also.
I think the model 2003 to 2006 is the same. I used it on both sides. So it is much nicer for repairs.
