3D-printed replacement lock/unlock rocker button made for the 2005-2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK: a simple way to replace a cracked, lost or hard-to-find original part.
About this part
Replacement for the OEM Lock/Unlock button on the driver's side of a WK (2005-2010) Jeep Grand Cherokee. May work for more models than WK, but I only have one to test with. Also, since it's unlabeled, may work for passenger side.
Reverse-engineered from the broken part that shot out at me violently while driving 65 MPH on the highway. This part re-uses the original spring and metal spring cap - the part responsible for the fantastic launch of the failed OEM plastic piece.
I hope someone finds this useful. The openSCAD code is included for anyone interested. I can't promise it's the best formatted code, as I'm just learning openSCAD as of 12 hours ago.
