3D-printed rear armrest cup holder insert for the 1998-2006 Bmw 3 Series E46, made to order as an affordable alternative to a discontinued or expensive original part.
About this part
Cupholder insert for the rear armrest of BMW E46.
The backing is inserted under the leather. Use the backing to mark the location for your cuts. A single slit in the center "web" is also needed to get the backing into the armrest. Carve out the foam as needed to clear the cupholder. Insert the backing, insert the cupholder and use 6 wood screws to hold them together. The screws I used have 4mm outer thread.
