He knows that I was an ME with an insatiable lust for re-engineering everything in my world. The original plate design that GM put in the model was terrible. I took to opportunity to redesign a conventional handle that picks up the original screw hole locations and uses the original screws. My friend loves it. It was printed with PLA but I would recommend ABS or PETG(+), if you can utilize these in your printer. I used the Cura Dynamic setting, used 50% tri-hex infill which produces a very strong part.
