About this part

Here is my take on a grille demister gauge pod for the RX-8 (LHD). The gauge in the photo is a 2-1/16" Premium Evo Electrical Water Temperature Gauge from Prosport Gauges. The vent model is close to the OEM vent fitment but might require some adjustment of the frontal tab to more securely snap into place. I've included a few versions of the vent base so others can more easily add a pod for other gauges.

The cover photo is showing off the one-piece model, which is designed for externally run wires. The two-piece model is available for ease of printing and requires a 14mm M3 bolt and M3 press nut. For the cleanest install, the enclosed pod has a wire routing passage down into the vent duct, but that setup pod requires drilling a hole in the vent duct to pass wires under the dash.

I printed my model in ASA for greater UV resistance.
