Print full size and trim the back end until it fits or ask your 3D printer to take off the right amount before printing. Why is there a peak and not a smooth arch along the long end? For the less expensive FDM printers the curve is sliced as a flat for the very top\/last layer. This will show up as a cross-hatched flat (about 1\/16\" wide) and the eye goes right to it. The peak will be all 'long-pass grain' and will actually look smoother.
