3D-printed trunk luggage compartment plate hinge for the 2016-2023 Mercedes-benz E-class W213 (Wagon), made to order as an affordable alternative to a discontinued or expensive original part.

About this part

This is a replacement part of the Mercedes W213 Wagon Trunk/Boot luggage compartment hinge (plate cover under the trunk carpet where the first aid kit, triangle etc. is stored). I had one already broken and broke the other one wery quickly even though I rarely opent it.

Print with Automotive temperatures friendly filament like ABS, ASA, PETG.
Supports will be required due to the part geometry. To make it strong give it more walls and top/bottom layers and good infil.

I printed mine 4 walls, 5 top and 5 bottom layers with 50% infil. Seems plenty strong. The part is anyway designed to be more beefy than the original one which is only 2mm strong ABS plastic. To print the other side use mirror function in your slicer.

* Update 2025-11-30 - Updated to be better fit and prevent cracking because of the wrong tolerances. Now fits nicely without any resistance when closing leading to cracking the part. I also made a slot for screws so there's a tolerance when fitting the part to the car.
