About this part

Hello. I made these trim pieces to fit around my 2011 W212 Mercedes fog lights.
They are designed to be universal, meaning you don't have to print 4 different pieces, just this one file times 4.

I used my Ender 3 pro. I recommend ABS because of environmental factors like temperature. This is a more common plastic in automotive use. Also you can utilize ABS smoothing to make it look factory. Watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXqzw9BpjSY
Otherwise use PETG as PLA will melt, warp and weaken in direct sunlight.

NB! Printing with ABS on Ender 3 pro requires some modifications to the print head shroud, so it doesn't blow cold air on to the print. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjSpVN19x7A

I recommend the part be printed PLA first to check fitment. Here I did 80mm/s and 0.3mm layer height.
Then I printed ABS slow @ <50mm/s.
