About this part
This laptop holder was designed to mount securely to the center console grab bar of a 2024 Toyota Tacoma. However, it may work for other model years with the same grab bar design.
The model is designed to be printed in six components. Depending on your printer’s build volume, the laptop platform may need to be divided into multiple sections.
It features a rotating, print-in-place swivel top that allows the laptop to be easily moved out of the way when not in use. The top pedestal threads directly into the clamp base, providing a secure and stable connection. The laptop platform includes cutouts on both sides to allow clearance for USB ports, power cables, and other connections. It is designed to accommodate laptops approximately 13" × 9", making it compatible with a wide range of devices.
It also includes a phone mount compatible with pop-socket style grips, allowing it to accommodate virtually any phone regardless of size or model. The phone mount is accessible from either side, ensuring usability whether the laptop platform is facing the user or rotated away.
Designed with work trucks in mind, the mount also incorporates dual clip locations for attaching a CB radio. Both clip positions are usable, depending on the orientation of the swivel base.
For optimal durability and heat resistance inside a vehicle, it is recommended to print this model using PETG or ABS. A TPU sleeve is included and should be slid over the swivel joint prior to threading the platform into the base. This sleeve enhances stability during rotation. The sleeve should be printed in TPU, and a lubricant compatible with PETG, ABS, and TPU—such as Super Lube—is recommended to ease installation and improve movement.
