FAQ

Will a printed knob fit the original shaft?

Most knob files are drawn for a specific shaft (D-shape, splined or threaded, e.g. M12×1.5). Check the shaft type in the title or on the product page, and print a test piece first.

Are shift knob threads printed?

Some knobs have printed threads; others take a metal insert or an adapter. The product page explains which.

Can I print knobs with symbols?

Yes. Many knobs include raised symbols. Paint the symbols with a fine brush, or print in two colours if your printer allows it.
